SIZE GUIDE

Our intention with this size guide is to make buying vintage clothing online a piece of cake. In order to make it easy, we must understand how each product is measured. To rely only on a size tag is impossible as each item has been worn, washed, altered, repaired in unique ways by the previous owner(s).

In every product description we offer several measurements of the item, sometimes even how it fits (for e.g slim, regular, boxy).

The main measurements we provide for tops are:

- Shoulder

- Chest (pit to pit)

- Sleeve length

- Back length

For bottoms, we provide:

- Waist

- Inseam

If you are uncertain of your size, we recommend that you measure a top or bottom you have at home the same way we do in order to have something to compare with.

Further down we describe exactly how we measure.

How to measure tops & shirts

Shoulders: measured from the shoulder seam, side to side.

Chest: measured from pit to pit.

Sleeves: measured from the shoulder seam to the cuff. If the top has a raglan shoulder we measure from the armpit to the cuff.

Back: measured just below the collar and all the way down.

How to measure trousers

Waist: measured laying flat down side to side. The waist is measured in inches and multiplied by two to get the right measurement.

ex. 41 cm x 2 = 82cm, (41 cm = 16"), 16" x 2 = 32" = your waist size

Inseam: measured from the crotch seam right under the fly and down to the leg opening.
